Let me ask you something; why are you here anyway?
You ever ask yourself that? Why are you here? Not here as in the universal “Here”, but here as in the right here, right now “here.”
Have you ever looked in the mirror in your mind while you were here and asked yourself that question?
What do you care, anyway? Why do you bother investing the time to come here and do this? Isn’t there something more important you could be doing? And I’m not talking about the universal Diaryland “here”, I’m talking about the http://______.diaryland.com “here.”
Are you a voyeur? Have you considered that? Do have an undying need to peek?
Are you seeking commonality with the rest of the world? Do you want to know that you’re just like everyone else…even if it’s just a little bit?
Are you seeking validation? Are you trying to justify your own actions and life choices by seeking out those who are similar to you?
Are you hoping for companionship? Are you hoping to connect with someone?
Are you crying for help? Are you looking for someone to save you?
Are you attempting to self-depreciate? You find that you just don’t match up to those you find here and so you confirm your beliefs about yourself?
Do you hunger to create?
Why have you come?
What do you want?
Ask yourself.
Think.
