The silence is broken.
I'm back and darn happy too. I had a good trip, though the hours were long and the task an arduous one. We met with some weather too - 50 mile per hour winds, temps in the teens, and a little snow to top things off. I got to see Mt. Rushmore again and the Crazy Horse monument...went up to Deadwood and drank expensive beer in some casinos...a good trip all-in-all.
My son's Birthday party happened this weekend - he's 5 now. He's not feeling real happy about it, because he fears that he's going to have to go to Kindergarten and he's not looking forward to that because he's afraid of...THE PRINCIPAL!!!
I don't know why, but he's got the principal all trumped up in his head as this horrible person who eats kids or something. I've tried reassuring him, but he won't have any of it. He thought for sure that he was going to Kindergarten this morning...right in the middle of the school year...because he's 5 now and that's when it's over! Poor guy.
Well, anyway...I'm back.
I missed you guys.
